My goal with this piece was to make a super long lariat that could be wrapped several times around the neck. I also wanted to make the brooch a separate piece that could be worn with the lariat or alone.

Rose was my grandmother's name and I made it my daughter's middle name. So roses have special meaning for me and I love creating and wearing them!
