Christmas Quilt

This throw size quilt is made with 5"x5" squares. First is sew the square together working vertically. Then I lay out a flat cotton sheet. Lay a flannel sheet over the flat sheet and the pieced layer on top of that. I trim the the flat and flannel sheets so they are about 3" larger than the pieced top layer. Then I fold the flat and flannel layer over creating the border. I hand stitch the border then tie the center of each square with a knot. For this quit, I used Lion Brand Suede.
